The Danish Arts Council’s Committee for Literature has a number of international support provisions. These support provisions are directed towards publishers, translators, foreign institutions and authors seeking support for travel or translations concerned with literary projects.

About the Danish Arts Agency's Literature Centre
The Literature Centre promotes familiarity with Danish literature nationally and internationally. It is part of the Danish Arts Agency and is the administrative arm of the committee under Danish Arts Foundations and The Danish Arts Council's Committee for Literature. The Literature Centre acts on behalf of the Danish Arts Council's Committee for Literature in international projects.
The international tasks of the Danish Arts Council's Committee for Literature includes subsidies for translation and travel and coordination of literary projects with Danish participation abroad, including the participation of Danish authors in literary events, literary festivals, etc. It also includes visiting programmes and seminars for foreign publishers and translators. Residency stays for authors and translators and regular participation at the literary trade fairs of Frankfurt, London and Copenhagen, as well as occasional Danish participation at other relevant trade fairs.
The Committee is providing information on the Danish literature via a literary web magazine, danishliterarymagazine.info, and on children’s books via childbooks.dk.
